The Institute is currently looking to add visionary community members and leaders—passionate about our mission—to fill vacancies on the Board of Directors this spring and summer as our organization grows and evolves. Members will have a direct role in guiding the Institute’s strategies and tactics and work closely with the executive director and staff on a variety of programs.
There's no prior board experience required. We're especially interested in individuals with experience in fundraising, activism and organizing, coalition building, and/or public relations and marketing, and who share in our goal to build an organizational model with high value on transparency, accountability and continuous self-work. People of color, people living with HIV/AIDS or disabilities, and candidates of all ages are encouraged to apply.
