MBLGTACC Alumnx

Alumnx of the Midwest Bisexual Lesbian Gay Transgender Asexual College Conference

The MBLGTACC Alumnx program connects past attendees to facilitate relationship and coalition building across the region and provide opportunities to continue the conversations started at the conference.

Through the MBLGTACC Alumnx program, we seek to engage current and former students, higher education professionals, and community members who have previously attended the Midwest Bisexual Lesbian Gay Transgender Asexual College Conference with the ongoing work of the Institute and the larger queer and trans movement across the Midwest. The program promotes intergenerational strategy and story sharing, enabling future movement leaders to understand past tactics and emerging tactics to be widely shared across generations.

Fund the next 30 years

The Midwest Institute for Sexuality and Gender Diversity celebrated the 30th annual Midwest Bisexual Lesbian Gay Transgender Asexual College Conference in 2022. Past MBLGTACC attendees know first hand the queer and trans joy experienced at the annual conference. The community and coalitions built at MBLGTACC have the power to transform the region and create a future where all queer and trans people are embraced and affirmed.

The Institute aims to bolster the magic of MBLGTACC, capture the skills and knowledge promoted during the conference, and amplify it to those who may have limited access to the conference, college, and/or queer and trans spaces.

To fund this work, the Institute asks conference alumnx to endow the next 30 years of MBLGTACC and Institute programs by joining the OPE Monthly Giving program and becoming a sustaining donor. Your monthly recurring donation will help position the Institute and MBLGTACC to continue providing transformative experiences for queer and trans students for decades to come.
