Remember Give OUT Day? This month, the Institute participated in the only national day of giving for the queer and trans+ community.
Over the course of 24 hours on Thursday, April 19, we humbly received 16 gifts totaling $1,010. Members of the Institute leadership and board took to social media to share video messages and personal appeals to their networks, asking others to support the Institute’s work. Our humble, but growing, network of friends comprises students, former MBLGTACC planners, university staff, partners, and others who took the opportunity to support us because they believe in our mission and in our impact.
With an all-volunteer staff, every Give OUT Day contribution to the Institute will help the organization and our ambassadors undertake mission-critical initiatives, and sustain strategic operations. These gifts benefit our programs, student experiences, and growth.
